The National Institute of First Assisting, Inc. (NIFA) presents RN First Assistant in surgery programs for surgical Nurse Practitioners throughout the United States. Our programs have been accepted by the Competency and Credentialing Institute (CCI) since 1998 and address all the modules of the core curriculum for RNFAs by the Association of perioperative Nurses (AORN). All formal RNFA programs are recognized by the 50 state nursing boards.
